KITCHEN METHOD:
- Remove the netting and place the smoked ham in a large casserole dish.
- Cover with cold water and cook over low heat for 2h30 to 3h00 until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Add vegetables 20 to 30 minutes before the end of cooking.
OVEN METHOD:
- Remove the netting, wrap the ham in aluminum foil and place it in a dish in the oven.
- Cover and cook at 250 to 300°F for about 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
NOTE:
- Keep the cooking broth for soup! It is an excellent source of nutrients and very tasty.
